DAMP X RUBBERISED BITUMEN

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fired Earth Damp X Rubberised Bitumen is used to waterproof roofs and parapets as well as sealing of ponds, dams, etc. It is applied for tanking and waterproofing structures. Can also be used in place of Hydro Flex, impregnating liquid in the reinforcing membrane waterproofing system, by applying one saturator coat, onto a sound surface followed by one finishing coat. Can also act as a curing agent when applied to fresh concrete. May be applied to damp, but not waterlogged surfaces. If this product is being used as waterproofing on a roof or exterior substrate and not for a pond - please overcoat with a suitable Fired Earth topcoat.

SPREADING RATE

This product will cover approximately 0.88 m² - 1.17 m² / litre per coat depending on the type of substrate and surface porosity. Spread rates are based on the product being applied to sound smooth plaster.

DRYING PROPERTIES

Touch dry: 2 hours @ 23°C

Over-coating time: Min 12 hours @ 23°C

CLEANING

Clean all tools (brushes & rollers) while wet with water after use.
